Abstract：This paper introduces the promotion and development of IIW Education, Qualification & Certification System in China. After ten years authorization, Chinese Welding Training and Qualification Committee (CANB) has obtained outstanding achievements which the total number of personnel awarded international diplomas ranks the second in the world. CANB keeps works on IIW manufacturer certification scheme for the management of quality in welding and makes efforts to obtain IIW ANBCC authorization to implement ISO3834 Certification System in China.
