Implementation of International Welding Personnel Examination and Qualification System in China

Abstract: There are 37 countries joined in the harmonized welding personnel training, examination and qualification system of International Welding Institute (IIW) at present. Since Chinese Welding Training and Qualification (CANB) got the authorization in January 2000, CANB has started to carry out the corresponding training and qualification And It gets the outstanding achievements which the total number of international qualified personnel ranks the second in the world. This article briefly introduces the requirements of IIW examination and qualification which the training body and examination organization must be separated. CANB build up the corresponding examination organization and its detailed implementation process in China.
