Chinese Welding Training and Qualification Committee Xie Yinglong

Abstract：The development of “Welding Training & International Certification” is promoted by many factors including overall efforts of the industry, active participation of welding companies, the attention and support of government and administrative department. Chinese Welding Training and Qualification Committee (CANB) has passed the re-assessment and extension of the authorization scope. It is the earliest body obtained the six full international authorization awarded by International Institute of Welding (IIW) in Asia. Harbin Welding Training Institute (WTI Harbin)—the first ATB got the international authorization has achieved a great success in promoting IIW system through the cooperation with many local industry organizations, universities and welding manufacturing enterprises. Also, WTI Harbin has developed fruits of Sino-Germany cooperation. Welding training and international certification has been advanced soundly and quickly with the development of company certification and the founding of industry demonstrational resources-sharing platform.
