Abstract： This paper makes a retrospect of the history that Harbin Welding Training Institute carries out training and certification of internationally recognized welders and of the achievements it has made. A brief comparison of the welder test standards between DIN8560, EN287, ISO9606 and the Welder Guidelines of International Institute of Welding is also made, and how the training category of International Welder and ISO9606 Standard will be developed is analyzed.
