A New Training Mode for Welding Technical Talents at Chinese Universities After Joining WTO

Abstract：The paper introduces a new training mode for welding technical talents at the Chinese universities. In the training mode, the training project for international welding engineer (International Institute of Welding) was incorporated with the teaching programs for the students of the welding specialty at the universities. A part of the training programs for IWE was absorbed to the teaching programs. The course was taught by Harbin Welding Training Institute that got the authorization of IIW. The students at the universities can obtain the graduation certificate and the degree’s diploma awarded by the universities and the profession qualification certificate awarded by IIW. It enlarges the employment opportunity and the development potential of the students.
